We would never say that bullying is a good thing. In fact, we think it sucks. But when it comes to bullies onscreen, it’s usually a safe bet that they either see the error of their ways or the main character gets a sweet redemption scene. Ah, if only real life was more like the movies.

1. Nelson Muntz, The Simpsons
Nelson Muntz has been the leader of the Grade 4 bullies for 26 seasons. That’s a lot of wedgies. He’s given Bart pink belly and he’s stolen Lisa’s heart, all with the voice of someone who smokes a pack of cigarettes a day. Nelson may be a tough guy on the outside, but we know there’s some goodness under that denim vest. Ha ha indeed, Nelson.
2. Kathryn Merteuil, Cruel Intentions
From tormenting her own step-brother to playing with the emotions of her friends, Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Kathryn Merteuil was the ultimate bully in Cruel Intentions. The actress was nominated at the 2000 MTV Movie Awards and won for Best Performance, but lost Best Villain to Mike Meyers for Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. We demand a re-count. Kathryn could totally earn her PhD in evilness and didn’t even need sharks with lasers to terrify us.
3. Regina George, Mean Girls
Acting as a reminder that high school is no place for the faint of heart, Regina George was the Queen Bee of the Plastics who called the shots and set the tone for the entire student body population in Mean Girls. Whether she was passive aggressively complimenting your outfit or causing a riot among the female students thanks to the burn book, Regina George was the villain everyone loved to hate.
4. Madison Morgan, The Duff
Madison is the typical popular bully in The Duff, doing her best to bring down anyone who may challenge her social ranking aka dating her ex-boyfriend. Madison would normally succeed, but who’s cooler than Bianca, played by Mae Whitman?
5. Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter
Draco was rarely seen without his crew of Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle, with the three students doing their best to make sure Harry Potter and his friends had a terrible time at Hogwarts. Jokes on Draco. Nobody can have a terrible time at Hogwarts.
6. Sadie Saxton, Awkward
Sadie spent the first two years of high school making sure that Jenna Hamilton knew exactly how much she detested her. Finally, their mutual friendship with Matty led to Sadie and Jenna, well, not becoming BFFs, but at least reaching an understanding. Now Sadie is better able to focus her wrath on every single person that comes into her line of vision rather than ONLY Jenna.
7. Laura and Nancy, The Craft
The Catholic Prep School in The Craft was never short on bullies. First it was Christine Taylor’s Laura Lizzie as the racist popular girl. Next, once she gained her witchy powers, Fairuza Balk’s Nancy convinced her friend Sarah that her parents were dead and tried to get the fellow witch to kill herself. High school sucks.
8. Mike Dexter, Can’t Hardly Wait
Some said Mike Dexter was a god. Others said he was an ass. Whatever your belief, Mike Dexter went thorugh four years of high school as a bully, spent one night getting drunk and being nice to nerd William Lichter, and went right back to being the worst. Old habits die hard.
9. Marianne Bryant, Easy A
Whether it’s a tough dress code of black on black or the Lord’s name, bullies usually like to hid behind something. Marianne Bryant felt she could use religion to bully Olive, but quickly found that Olive wasn’t the enemy. A cheating boyfriend and a case of chlamydia were the enemy.
10. Stifler, American Pie
The quintessential high school bully, Stifler was good looking, popular, had no filter, and also had a super-hot mom. Oh, he was also a giant jerk.
