When Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald flies into theatres on November 16, one person who will be first in line with their ticket is Ezra Miller. The actor is returning to the Potterverse for a second time to reprise his role as Credence Barebone. Portraying the troubled Obscurus is a huge honour for Miller, who in addition to being a gifted actor is also the biggest Harry Potter fan. Like, really big.
Magazines like to tell us that stars are just like us, but in this case we truly relate to Miller’s fandom. He stans hard for the Wizarding World and has the knowledge to back it up. So, how big of a Harry Potter fan is Ezra Miller?
If you don’t know the history of Grindelwald, Miller is upset with you. If you do know it, he’s happy to have some company to freak out with him.
You can read all seven Harry Potter books and see the Fantastic Beasts films or you can just hang out with Ezra and get schooled for four minutes.
Speaking about the Potter fandom, which Ezra counts himself a member of, the actor entered the franchise with an anxiety that can only be felt by someone who truly cares about the project and how much it means to the fans.
He watches Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them every day. Okay, that’s probably an exaggeration, but judging by his recap skills he’s definitely watched it…a lot.

Repost from @buzzfeed: Let’s get caught up on #FantasticBeasts with Ezra Miller!
He makes his own Harry Potter merch.
His Harry Potter test skills are impressive. Sure, he didn’t get perfect on this quiz, but admittedly we didn’t either.
No one in the history of cinema has ever been this excited to promote a film.
Seriously, actors are never this excited to do press junkets. Never. Ever.
